What am I doing?

So welcome to my blog. It is basically all about me and going away to Mozambique(?) in October.
At the moment all I really know is that I have a place on a Global Action Team with the Oasis Trust ( www.oasistrust.org) . I applied to go away to Mozambique so that is probably where I will end up but it won't be confirmed for a while yet, all part of the excitement.
For now I am slowly but surely paying for the trip and organising a bit of fundraising. Everybody I have told so far has been lovely and helped hugely, especially my Grandparents, Aunty Heather, my boss at Market Street and of course everyone at St. Peter and Pauls.
The next step will be receiving my healh info pack in the next couple of months and sorting out injections and Malaria tablets etc. I am not particularly worried about this, I am one of those people who like to watch as they stick a whacking great needle in my arm, and I might not need as many as usual having been to Uganda two years ago. Then will be the general info pack, something I am very excited about as it should say where I am going and who with etc.
Then in September I have a weeks residential training course in this country with everybody going anywhere with Oasis (that's a lot of people) and the first week of October I fly out!
So that's about it for now, I will update when something else reasonably exciting happens. For now: YAY!
